One of the most prominent topics of the 2010 NOLSC | NDTA Symposium in Norfolk, Virginia ("Operational Logistics: Accelerate Your Future", January 25 - 28, 2010) was the subject of relief efforts in Haiti following the 7.0 earthquake on January 12th. Military logisticians had joined forces to deliver aid to the island nation through Operation Unified Response commanded by US SOUTHCOM. Representatives from USTRANSCOM, Naval Supply Command and the Fleet & Industrial Supply Centers were among the distinguished keynote speakers who shared insight into that mission and supply chain operations.
